Tom Wills and Nick Bell formed the partnership in 2003, between them bringing 30 years' experience in the building industry.

Their first project, the contemporary extension of a Californian bungalow in Northbridge, won the Willoughby Council Heritage Award 2004 and gained publication in a number of architectural magazines. Since then, atom design group has increased the scope and size of their projects in both residential and commercial sectors.

Tom and Nick's philosophy is that each project is taken afresh, with their designs generated in response to the site, client, climate, budget, etc. They pride themselves on providing an extremely professional level of service, creative solutions and the highest level of attention to detail.
